Shirley is the proud mother of two beautiful young ladies. She enjoys spending time with them on their ranch in the deep South with their three paint horses. Always looking for an adventure, she looks forward to hikes in the mountains chasing waterfalls, or scouring the coast for beautiful lighthouses! Shirley writes to encourage others and often times shares things that motivate and inspire her. She believes in living life to the fullest because no one is promised the gift of another day. Join her as we honor our bodies, minds, hearts, souls, and our Almighty Creator, God above!

    I feel like that shell that has been through it all but appears perfect on the outside. People will never understand the struggles I’ve been through. But, this one post helped me to see there are still wonderful people in the world today.

      Emerald, I can completely relate to what you’ve written. When someone looks at me, they can’t possibly know the hurt and pain I’ve had to endure in this lifetime. I know that there are others that have had it a lot worse than I have, but my point is that no one truly knows your story unless they’ve walked that path beside you. To others you can wear many masks, and no one would ever know the hurt you’re feeling because you hide it so well. I’m here for you any time, Emerald, and I mean that! Thank you for writing today.
