I didn’t know it was National Lighthouse Day, wish I did though. I love visiting lighthouses as I find them visually appeal. The history with each of them has a bit of historic charm.

I have an obsession with lighthouses now, Reginia. I have pictures in my house as well as even having rugs with lighthouses in my bathroom. There is just something about standing in front of one, though. There are no words!

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a lighthouse in person, how sad is that? 🙁

Ohhhh Skye! We must fix this! There is just something about a lighthouse. I can’t properly put it into words. Just knowing what they were used for, what they mean, knowing lives were saved because of them, and how hard the people had to work inside the lighthouse … I love the history behind them, when they were built, the keepers of the lighthouse, etc. It fascinates me!

These are so pretty. When I was a kid my parents took us on a trip up and down the coast to see all the light houses. It was really fun!

I, too, adore lighthouses. We climb the Hatteras Island lighthouse almost every year.

Lighthouses are so beautiful. I’ve only ever been to the Key West one, but I have taken tons of pictures at the Sanibel Lighthouse too (but that one you can’t get into).

We went to Key West a few years ago, but I did not get a picture of the lighthouse when we were there. 🙁 I bet it is beautiful!
