Shirley

Shirley is the proud mother of two beautiful young ladies. She enjoys spending time with them on their ranch in the deep South with their three paint horses. Always looking for an adventure, she looks forward to hikes in the mountains chasing waterfalls, or scouring the coast for beautiful lighthouses! Shirley writes to encourage others and often times shares things that motivate and inspire her. She believes in living life to the fullest because no one is promised the gift of another day. Join her as we honor our bodies, minds, hearts, souls, and our Almighty Creator, God above!

    I wanted to see a picture of her on your lap!!! ha/ha What a great story. All so true. God gives them to us for just awhile to do the best we can to raise them in His image. I pray that my son who just started 8th grade will be able to do the same in the future. Not sure about him on my lap, that might make me visit the doctor!! ha/ha

    I agree that summer went by too quickly! I love your photos that are full of smiles and great memories. We need to do more outdoor trips like you.

    I love that “you are my sunshine” song. When I was 4 my Dad had moved to Florida a few months before me, my brother and my mom but he tells me that he called one night and when my mom handed me the phone I started singing that song to him over the phone. He cried, I can’t remember but it’s a story they tell all the time.

    It looks liek you had an amazing summer even if it is coming to a seemingly quick end. Summer definitely did seem to happen really fast this year but we were able to pack in a lot of memories and moments as well. 🙂

    Looks like you’ve had a wonderful summer! Your horses are beautiful. As bittersweet as it is to say goodbye to summer, I feel like autumn brings all its own wonderful beginnings too 🙂

    yes summer is coming to an end sadly. I can feel this most because school starts next week and the sun is setting here earlier each day . im so not ready for this to end!
