The Potter’s Hand
Today was going to be a leisurely type of day where I sat around in my pajamas with the luxury of not having to rush here nor there. I could actually take it easy today and relax! I vowed to take full advantage of this!
I propped my feet up in my old recliner and settled in with my little two pound Teacup Yorkie in my lap. Music always inspires and moves me, so I “shuffled” my i-Pod tunes, determined to breathe in all of the goodness of the day that the Lord has given to us and breathe out all of the stresses and anxieties. read more…
High School Ring Ceremony
My daughter and the rest of the Junior class received their high school rings this week. The school held a small, but precious, Ring Ceremony in their honor. They opened the ceremony with a special prayer. Then they mentioned the ring etiquette and how the ring was to be worn facing you until graduation. This inspires you to keep trying hard and giving it all you’ve got until you have the honor of walking across that stage to accept your High School Diploma! Once that happens, you, then, turn the ring where it is facing the world as it now signifies that you have achieved your goal and have graduated! read more…
