It took a few years into my own growing-up to start caring what others thought… and while I wish I had stayed a blissful fourteen year-old, without a care about others opinions, this time is good. It reminds me to turn desperately to Him. He IS all I need.

As I was reading your post I couldn’t help but think of Taylor Swift’s new song “Shake it Off!” Although I may no agree with all the lyrics, she and you both have good points about not letting other people’s opinions of us get to us. God is the judge and He is one of grace. What a great reminder! Happy to be your FMF neighbor today!

Aww, Asheritah! Thank you so much for what you said. I haven’t yet heard the new Taylor Swift song, but I am going to search for it now!

How wonderful to have reached that point! Truly the only opinion that matters is God’s. Thank you for the reminder tonight.

Thank you for visiting with us! I think it is a message that a lot of people needed to see. We get so caught up in the opinion of others when we should truly only care about what God thinks of us. And you know what? He LOVES us, each and every one of us!
