Shirley is the proud mother of two beautiful young ladies. She enjoys spending time with them on their ranch in the deep South with their three paint horses. Always looking for an adventure, she looks forward to hikes in the mountains chasing waterfalls, or scouring the coast for beautiful lighthouses! Shirley writes to encourage others and often times shares things that motivate and inspire her. She believes in living life to the fullest because no one is promised the gift of another day. Join her as we honor our bodies, minds, hearts, souls, and our Almighty Creator, God above!

    Congratulations! It’s so hard to know when to push and when to be still with one’s children! I’m glad she was able to break through her hesitation and experience such a big victory! You have a beautiful daughter :).

      Thank you so much! Yes, you definitely have to be careful. Where I was seated, I could see her face as we were texting. If I detected on her face that she was about to shift from being rightfully nervous in the situation to having a panic attack, I would not have pushed her to go forward.
