Shirley is the proud mother of two beautiful young ladies. She enjoys spending time with them on their ranch in the deep South with their three paint horses. Always looking for an adventure, she looks forward to hikes in the mountains chasing waterfalls, or scouring the coast for beautiful lighthouses! Shirley writes to encourage others and often times shares things that motivate and inspire her. She believes in living life to the fullest because no one is promised the gift of another day.     That must always be a painful day. I think sometimes people think talking about someone’s loss might be too painful, and so they say nothing. It’s good to be reminded that that’s not true.

      Thank you, Bethany. I know that a lot of people just don’t know what to say, so they don’t say anything at all. It’s hard to know what to do for someone on those painful “tender” days. For me, just hearing her name is comforting so that I know people haven’t forgotten her.
