What a great reminder! My dogs remind me of this every day. They love me no matter what and they rely on me for everything. It’s how my relationship with Jesus should be, and how I should look to Jesus. Thanks for sharing, Nicole!

Pets are wonderful, no matter what kind you have. They are always willing to show you love, just like Jesus.

Thank you. I was striving to ensure He was glorified today, especially, for all He’s done for us and how He loves us.

What a great post & a great point of view. I agree, that God is not at all a respecter of persons. He loves us no matter what we have going on and I often look at a sunrise & think along the same lines as you. The things we take for granted are the things that reveal to us constantly that we are loved. Warm sun on our faces, helping flowers grow and a little snuggle from an adorable goat. It’s good to be loved <3

It is cool to see all the different ways God will speak to us, and reveal or remind us of truths about himself. Thanks for sharing. God’s love is overwhelming, especially when one considers what unconditional means.

Up until I was 8, we had a small goat farm–I absolutely loved the kids (having milking fights with my sisters was a lot of fun, too 😉 ). I love the analogy of crawling up into Jesus’ lap–wouldn’t the world be a better place if we all did this daily?!
