BOY!! Have you been a fly on the wall around my apartment today? Or, in the car or at the store with me and my husband? WOW!! How close to home your words are! I yelled back, in defense of how HE was being to ME and then HE accuses ME of being the one to yell…no, I did NOT act like a Christian! Yes, I yelled and defended and spoke VERY angry words…but, I am sooooo tired of the out-bursts! So tired of how he speaks to me; assuming what I am going to say, not listening or wanting to listen to what I am saying to him.

He was FINE while we were on vacation; but started being ugly again the morning we were to leave. And today has been a horrible day…

Sorry to use your post for my purposes…your words just hit home like the biggest jack hammer that could hit me in the head. Would that help?! I’m not sure it would!

I know prayers will help, and I pray that God will give me the strength to continue to be the woman He wants (or needs?) me to be…

This has just been such a tiring day; busy and very tired after our vacation and driving home in the thunderstorms yesterday…praying most of the way because of the weather…and when I read your words, well, they just hit me hard! Thank you for sharing these words, Shirley! I sure did need to hear them!!

No need to apologize, Barbara. Some times it helps a whole bunch to know that someone can identify with what you’re feeling and relates to what all is taking place. I’m very sorry you know this pain as well. I will pray for you … please pray for me, too.
